Ken "Da Orc Boy" Lacy is an avid Warmonger who has been playing Warhammer and 40K for more than ten years. His armies of choice are always hordes: goblins with loads of fanatics, imperial guard with scores of footsloggers, eldar with gobs of guardians, a deluge of Dacians...

Scorecard #71: A Score, and a Half-Dozen More: August through October 2005
Another three months have gone by, and in August in particular, your humble Orcboy went on a bit of a gaming craze: twenty one games in the space of a month. What happens to a gamer when he plays so many games in so short a time? Well, a little burn-out is one thing. In September, I played a grand total of just four games, and in October just one. Of course, now that summer is past, Real Life is also a factor -- it's starting to make itself at home, raiding the fridge and stealing the remote to the TV, so both time for gaming and time for updating the Scorecard will probably be scarce...
I'll be trying to update at least once every two months, at least from now on, and as before will be breaking up the games into thematically organized categories when appropriate. Also this update, I include army lists for my Slann, and will try to again include army lists for my other armies in subsequent updates. Thanks to the Ben K, who wrote in to ask what my Slann looked like. Pictures of several conversions are included, but painted pictures of the Slann will have to wait -- I still haven't finished painting any of the army. Ironic, actually, as I plan to put the Slann into semi-retirement, and focus on a few other armies for a while...
In other news, we also see a premiere appearance from the Swingin' Sisters of Battle -- follow the Counter Offensive II link (below) for more details, which includes a link to The Jungle, an army list, and various further battle reports!
In the next Scorecard, you'll see a premiere appearance of my next big project: a Space Marine 9th Company. Bwahahaha. And, because your faithful narrator is running short on time, the writeup for the Warhammer Ancients playtest games, featuring Bulgarians, will have to wait until next time (many apologies!). You can see below, of course, just how well they did. At any rate, stay tuned for more in two months...
