TOURNAMENTS

OPEN GAMING!
The Warmonger Club meets regularly every Thursday night as early as 4:00pm until 9:00pm at:

The Compleat Strategist
11 East 33 Street (between Madison and 5th Ave)
New York, NY
(212) 685-3880
On the web at: www.thecompleatstrategist.com

We hold open-gaming for Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000 and related games like Necromunda and Bloodbowl. Fantasy and 40K opponents are easy to come by during open-gaming, but be sure to arrange an opponent for any other systems (Warmachine, Hordes, Flames of War). You can do so by posting on our message boards. You can also arrange for Saturday games as well through the message boards.

Sorry, but you must be at least 18 years of age to attend open-gaming. See the Rules of Warfare, below, for guidelines on our "standards" for open-gaming.

RULES OF WARFARE
These rules represent a standard "baseline" for club members. Variations in points and rules are perfectly acceptable, as long as agreed upon with your opponent. The Rules of Warfare simply allow everyone to show up with compatible armies without having to make up a new list or cut/add from the list you've brought. Armies for special events follow these guidelines unless stated otherwise.

GENERAL RULES

  • All figures must be recognizable as what they are supposed to be (especially any non-GW figures). Conversions should be explained to your opponents if it is not easily recognizeable as the represented unit type.
  • All armies must have a written roster.
  • Armies do not need to be fully painted for open gaming, but MUST be painted and based for special events
  • Players should bring all materials they might need (dice, army and rule books, templates, rulers, etc.)

WARHAMMER 40K

  • 4th edition rules are used
  • 1,850 points, standard force organization
  • Strategy ratings are used
  • Special characters are allowed with opponent's permission

WARHAMMER FANTASY

  • 7th edition rules are used
  • 2,000 or 2,250 points
  • Appendix armies are not allowed unless cleared with your opponent first.
