I read the WD battle report between Speed Freaks and IG and thought how cool - an aircraft!1 Then I read Dan Abnett's Double Eagle and I was pretty much decided.

Enter Death's Angel: a thunderbolt from the 224th Tyrrel Squadron, who are currently engaged in suppressing a Tyrnaid invasion of the Kerflon System.
